Mentorships are an essential way of growing as a teacher, gaining unique insider access to a senior teacher’s methodology and accumulating a significant amount of contact hours. Deepen a meaningful relationship with an empowering teacher, understand how they create magic, build sequencing and select music.

You will cultivate your own teaching skills as you assist them in class, honing your ability to see bodies, offer modifications to diverse students and give hands-on assists. The Yoga Mentorship is a fantastic opportunity to dive deeper into your own teaching philosophy with tools and skills offered from a seasoned Zuda teacher.

The Yoga Mentorship includes a commitment to:

  • 20 in-classroom hours.
This is a combination of assisting and observing. You are required to be at the studio 15 minutes prior to classes. Hours may also include assisting workshops.
  • 6 monthly 1-hour meetings.
You and your mentor will discuss techniques, philosophy, sequencing, feedback, demonstration, practice teaching, workshops, etc.
  • 10 hours of assignments.
Unique to each teacher, your mentor will assign homework to round out your experience in this program.
  • 14 hours of practice and feedback.
The mentor will take the mentee’s classes. The mentee will cover the cost of the mentor taking class if it is at another studio.
  • Completion over the course of 6 months.
