Let us introduce you to yourself. There’s a method to our madness. Each class builds on the next. So take a deep breath and start your journey from the beginning.
Before you can bend you need to sit. Before you can sit you need to breathe. And that’s exactly what this program will teach. Breathing, focus and repetition along with feedback of a trusted teacher — the foundation to learning Zuda’s Vinyasa yoga. Don’t worry, you’ll be bending in no time.
As stated above, each beginner yoga class builds on the next. Every step is important. This commitment ensures that you are learning as a group, creating that community and camaraderie that is important to your success.
We’re not just about the what, we’re also about the why. There’s so much behind the practice of yoga — so many important nuances that need to be addressed in order to achieve success. We feature demonstration and discussion as well as practice…we want to make sure that you don’t just get it, but that you GET IT.
You may argue that you already know how to breathe. In fact, you probably do it in your sleep. But, you see, that’s part of the problem. A huge part of the practice of yoga is having a critical focus on intentional breathing.
A new vision of what’s inside is just as important as what you see in a mirror. This all-important yoga philosophy is reflected in every class.
It may not seem like it, but this is a workout — even though it’s a beginner yoga series! Don’t be fooled by the low intensity. You are working your mind as well as your body. Being open and willing to try new things is intense. Embrace this time.
